   When you go to my live preview site do you get the .csv when exporting?

1. Have you tried a different browser (Chrome, FireFox, IE)?
2. Are you using the compiled or uncompiled Viewer?

   I forgot to ask if you updated the SearchWidgetFixedDG.swf in your app if you are using the compiled version?

I am using the compiled version, I think, just adding to the ArcGIS Application Builder.

On second thought, I guess I’m using the For_AppBuilder3.7 version.

   OK that explains it then as the fixed datagrid is considered a layout widget and is not supported by App Builder you will have to manually update the SearchWidgetFixedDG.swf in your app. Copy the SearchWidgetFixedDG.swf from the download (easiest is from the compiled_FV3.7/eSearch folder) and put that updated file in your flexviewers\AppName\widgets\eSearch folder.
