Ok, I have been using Arcgis Server for a year now. Recently I viewed a few Flex Viewer apps and really liked how it works. I downloaded, added my basemaps, Street Maps and my own data. It really looks good. However, I can not view it from outside the network. When I try the Viewer comes up and all the widgets are there, just no data or visible maps, blank screen. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? It works Great from the local server. Just to remotely. The only file I have changed is the config. Do you have to do anything else?

Yes with Arcgis Server 10 I accessed using the ip http://123.123.123.123/Utilities. And yes, i use that same ip for the flex config. It's accessing the app, just the data will not display. I posted a screen shot. That was from outside the network. When in front of the machine, the viewer works fine.

jiminfla8899,

OK, but are you able to access http://123.123.123.123/arcgis/rest/ from outside the network?

That's the big issue then. If you can figure out why you can not access that, than all your problems should go away.

I think the Big issue has been solved. I'll let you know tomorrow. Seems this may be operator error.

Hey Robert, I couldn't stand it, had to log in and check tonight. Yes, operator error, I never changed the IP. Now it works. Thank You. I think I may have too many job titles at the moment. Can't think correctly.
