Subnet Lines

I have 5 subnetwork controllers and want to symbolize the electric lines (circuits) from these subnetwork controllers each a different color. In doing so, I would assume I would use the subnet line feature but there is nothing in this layer. I had thought that when creating a subnetwork controller and updating the subnetwork, whatever electric line that is connected to the controller gets added to this layer as one continuous line?

Is this incorrect? And if so, how would I go about achieving this?

Thank you!

@Joshua_Moreno - If you can validate and update subnetworks then it's probably what @MikeMillerGIS  is suggesting. Ensure the feature types you want to be aggregated are defined in the subnetwork definition.

Another scenario (although unlikely) is that the lines aren't really connected. If you can trace the subnetwork and see if all the lines you are expecting are selected. That would rule out the connectivity issue.

It depends on what you have set to be aggregated into the subnetline.  Check you subnetwork definition and review the aggregated lines.

Gotcha, will try this out! Luckily running a connectivity trace does show actual connection between the lines.

So I created my subnetwork definitions and lines are connected using the connected trace but I am still not getting the subnet lines to populate. Also, my electric lines are not showing a subnetwork name (unknown) even when running update subnetwork and update is connected. How can I go about fixing this?

If you have a propagator configured, you need to set the propagated network attribute.
