I am using the Analyze Network Data tool to identify remaining issues in our migration. One of the errors is 'Rule Missing' for a MV Busbar\Wire Cabinet three phase connected to a MV Underground Conductor three phase via a MV Busbar Connection. I added this junction type via Apply Error Resolutions. This rule DOES exist in the network properties. I am looking to find out if I am missing something as I don't understand why this error exists.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Analyze network data does not consider your edge-junction-edge rules so it will report errors for anything that would be resolved by an edge-junction-edge rule. If you are confident there is a rule that satisfies the problem, then you can ignore what is reported by Analyze Network Data.
Analyze Network Data does not consider edge-junction-edge rules. Apply Error Resolutions only considers and can add Junction-Edge rules.
To clarify, I attempted to resolve a missing junction error with a Busbar Connection feature to which a rule exists (yes, its a edge-junction-edge rule). When I run Analyze Network Data again after Apply Error Resolutions, this error now turns from missing junction to missing rule. I do not understand the application of your comment, if the Analyze Network Data tool doesn't consider edge-junction-edge rules - do I ignore the error or should it not even appear?
