I am attempting to apply an asset package taken from UN v 4 and upgrading the network to v7.  I keep getting this error (I created another rule for structural attachment).  Can someone help?

It also might occur if you have an Attachment Rule and the association type is a structure.

This error is about the role missing for the rule.  If you are attaching an asset to a structure, the AG/AT need to be listed as a "Container" in the B_AssociationRole table.

I added a contain association for the object but it now says I cannot have 2 roles for it.....

You can only have a single association role for an asset type. Instead of adding a second row, you should have updated the existing row in the asset package with the values you wanted.

Ok, so i just changed the association role for the asset type (Electric Cabinet Primary Junction Cabinet) from structure to containment in the roles table.  Now it flags for Unknown in certain C_Associations fields.  I feel like I am going down a rabbit hole.  2026-03-29_11-20-39.PNG

Asset Group Unknown cannot be used in associations, rules, and other things.  It is really a parking lot for data until it has a known asset group.  You need to remove the associations to Unknown.
