I am using Trace tool in Pro 3.0, face to UN in FGDB. There is a param "Include Content" in Trace Tool,  whether check it or not, the trace result is the same.  It's all the same to use downstream or upstream or connected. It's all the same to set param Output to Selection or other else.

Need other settings to exclude conent?

More infomation, another param "Include Containers" works well. The Modify Associations Pane can show all conten in Containment Tab.  The Display Content Button also works well.

Thanks

Can you post screenshots of what you're seeing? The trace will always return the features that are part of the connectivity of the trace, the other settings about including content/structure/containers determine whether the content/structures/containers associated to those results are also included. As an example, we will always include a device that is part of the subnetwork in a subnetwork trace, selecting include content/exclude content determines whether we also include any content associated with that device (maybe it contains non-spatial objects)?

You can find a full description in the including containers, content, and structures section of the Configure a trace online help page.

Thank you.

"always return the features that are part of the connectivity of the trace"

That's the point, it is reasonable. I didn't understand this from the help document.

Thank you.
