I am currently facing some challenges in understanding the Tier Group concept for hierarchical tiers. In order to gain a better understanding, I have been exploring different models and solutions provided by Esri, such as the Water/Gas foundation project.

However, I have noticed that the available solution only includes one of the main tier groups, which is the Distribution tier. To enhance my understanding and grasp the complete picture, I am seeking a project or model that encompasses the remaining two tier groups, namely Gathering and Transmission, as mentioned by Esri in the provided screenshot (Fig.1).

If any of you are familiar with or have access to such a project or model, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in obtaining it. Having access to a comprehensive solution that includes all three tier groups would greatly support my efforts to fully comprehend the Tier Group concept in our system.

Gas or Water probably has the best example of how to use Tier Groups with the Cathodic Protection system. Water also has DMAs as a tier group. In Gas, we moved away from using Gather, Transmission and Distribution as tier groups as they are just adjacent subnetworks in the System Tier. We did not see the value in separate tier groups and complicated tracing when trying to trace from distribution to well.
