Since the release of the UtilityNetworkTrace widget in the ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.22, we’ve been working to deliver this widget in our no-code app builders. With the March update of ArcGIS Online, this widget is now available in ArcGIS Instant Apps and ArcGIS Experience Builder.

Read this blog to learn how to Trace a Utility Network with the ArcGIS API for JavaScript (esri.com)

Read this blog if you want to Configure an Application to Trace a Utility Network (esri.com) using ArcGIS Experience Builder or ArcGIS Instant Apps.

@AlixVezina ,
Any idea when some of these tools for experience builder or ArcGIS Instant apps will be migrated to ArcGIS Enterprise, rather than ArcGIS Online?

To me it would make sense to have those tools available in ArcGIS Enterprise, for organizations which are hosting their UN on ArcGIS Enterprise.

Brian,

   In the blog, there is a section for using the widget with enterprise - https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/utility-network/mapping/configure-apps-to-trace-a-utility-....  Once the widget is out of beta, the next version of ArcGIS Enterprise will include it as part of the install.

Thanks @MikeMillerGIS . Clearly I didn't read the article fully.  My apologies!

Are there any widgets in Enterprise that work with simple Trace Networks or are they all for the Utility Network?

@CarlSunderman, right now only utility networks have a supported widget.

@AlixVezina @MikeMillerGIS

Just checking back on as it has the context

The "Utility Network Trace Widget" is in Experience Builder now (referring to v11.5), but is it true that it is
1) still not supported on Map Service and requires a "UN Feature Service" with named trace configurations and
2) the Viewers of this ExB app, who wish to run a trace on the published UN feature service, would require a The ArcGIS Advanced Editing user type extension assigned to their named user license?

Is there any workaround to make this Widget functionality available for a large number "Viewers" ?

@aperi

1) still not supported on Map Service and requires a "UN Feature Service" with named trace configurations

That's still true

2) the Viewers of this ExB app, who wish to run a trace on the published UN feature service, would require a The ArcGIS Advanced Editing user type extension assigned to their named user license?

An extra license / extension is no longer required to trace a utility network.
