I am converting a table into a KML. I can't figure out how it decides the name of the record. It is not necessarily the item in Column A and naming a field Name doesn't seem to effect which column is presented in the dark blue banner in google earth. I provided a redacted example to show up I am asking about. Thanks

Hi Gordon,

See the doc here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/conversion/layer-to-kml.htm

"If labels are turned on, the layer's label field or expression will be used for the feature name in the KML. If labels are not turned on, the layer's display field or expression will be used for the name. If neither of these layer properties are set, values from a field named Name will be used for the name."

You can change the display field in Layer Properties > Display.
