Hi

am kinda new to this platform...I would like to add demographic data to a map. based on the documentation and tutorials I've able to gather that I can acheive this via LivingAtlas or Import from files JSON, Excel, Txt

but if I want to plot demographic data variables from the data browser...does that mean I have to export that data and then import it to my map?

thanks

Hello DuVerger,

You can access the Esri Demographics data (via the data browser) directly in the software. You don't need to export and re-import. The method to do this is called "Enrich".

These lessons demonstrate how to enrich your data in a few products:

ArcGIS Online: Choose test markets for a start-up | Learn ArcGIS

ArcGIS Pro: Analyze fire preparedness with the ArcGIS GeoEnrichment Service | Learn ArcGIS

ArcGIS Insights: Explore commercial permits | Learn ArcGIS

ArcGIS Maps for Office: Get started with ArcGIS Maps for Office | Learn ArcGIS

Sincerely,

Heather
