Unable to Connect to 10.3.1

We are using Survey 123 with Portal 10.3.1.

We have several users (both iOS and Android) whose client software upgraded and they are now unable to authenticate to our portal. In addition to needing to figure out how to restore service, there are a lot of forms that are now stranded on these devices. Is there a way to retrieve these forms that were filled out but are not able to be uploaded?

Also, is there a timeframe of when the "classic" client will be available from the Apple Store?

Hi Drew,

Portal 10.3.1 is no longer supported with Survey123 3.0. As you mentioned, we have a version of the app available that will still work with 10.3.1, called Survey123 Classic. You can find the Android and Windows version of Classic in the stores and Survey123 download page, for iOS we are unsure at this stage when it will be available. If you can send me your email address via a private message, we can get you access to the Classic version for iOS via our beta program.

To recover your surveys currently stuck on the devices with 3.0, you will need to copy the slqite database from the device and use a desktop with Survey123 2.8 app or Survey123 Classic 2.9 app.

Hi Philip,

Could I acquire a Classic version for iOS? One of our staff has been collecting data in the field but has been unable to sync it due to the globalIDs error.

Hi Laura,

We were unable to release Survey123 Classic on the iOS App Store.  As a workaround, you could extract the data to a PC that has Survey123 Classic on it and post from there - see Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS for a description of the process.
