Survey123 Coordinate System and Pull Data -

when using the Pulldata function, does this use the coordinate space of the FC or the default WGS system in survey123?

we would like to host a FC with an established datum NAD 83, then create a survey based on this hosted FC (ie not creating a FC from the survey123). the pull data function would be used for transcribing the data into microstation (where the user could bring up a web app of the data collected with survey123 look to the pull data xy fields and input the location into the microstation project). not a super clean workflow but it beats using the paper and pen method we just got away form.

thanks,

Hi,

Survey123 uses WGS1984 GCS (wkid 4326) as internal representation of coordinate in the app and submits location in that coordinate system to the feature service.  As part of setting up a map for publishing, you can define the coordinate transformation for teh feature service - see Author maps to publish feature services—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise

in other words pull data will retrieve x,y data in the app's internal representation (which will always be WGS1984 GCS) and the location is submitted to the feature service which can be in its own different established coordinate system based on how the service is published?

Correct, the ArcGIS Server interface applies the coordinate transformation (this can be specified in setting up the data frame before publishing the service).
