Survey123 Software Updater

Does the Survey123 dev team have any plans on adding an updater button in the software similar to ArcGIS Pro? It seems cumbersome having to uninstall and reinstall to the latest version.

Hi Jordan,

Currently there is limitation of not being able to "auto-update" or install "over the top" of an existing installation due to an underlying issue which is not currently supported in the Qt framework which we use to build Survey123 with. Until this issue is resolved in Qt framework and AppStudio, then Survey123 can not be "auto-updated" or installed "over the top" of existing installation. You will need to uninstall and re-install the app each time.

 

I have updated our internal issues related to this request with your comments and request for support.
