Survey123 Required Column on Text and Select_one

the first line will not respect the REQUIRED condition while the third will. The first line is a select_one, the third line is a Text. Both have the Required column at YES and both have conditions in the Relevant column. Any clues why the select_one causes the Required to fail?

We have just updated new 3.4 beta builds to EAC which include fixes for required questions when using relevant, constraints, and validation in repeats as well as supporting expression in required field for all question types. Please test them out and let us know if you still have any remaining issues.

Hi Phil,

These are two serious issue that need to be fixed ASAP. Is there any way the timeline can be pushed up? Esri cannot allow this type of bug to linger. This is the most basic type of data validation that literally every single survey relies on.

Hi @HaroldHerrera1,

BUG000120023 was fixed in the 3.5 release. It is possible the issue you are seeing above is a slight variation of this issue, or there is another cause.

Can you please share your xlsxform so we can take a closer look - also if you use any CSV or media folder files, also please provide them too.
