Survey123 Report - PDF conversion not honoring formatting

We are experiencing issues with PDF reports not honoring the template format, particularly in tables where the text inside the cell displays in two lines rather than one.

Everything works fine if we produce the report as a word document and use MS Word to either 'Save as Adobe PDF' directly,  or  Save As... and selecting PDF after naming the file, so not sure what might be the reason behind it.

Please advise.

Hi @jvarasanz

Thanks for sharing here! The issue you encountered might be an known issue: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/browser/analyze-results/knownissuesanalyzeresults.htm#anchor2

Could you please try embed the fonts you used in your report template? Please see the link above for more instruction on this.

If embedding the font cannot fix the problem, could you please send us the screenshot of your word and your pdf report, so that we can identify the issue?

Thanks,

Ruth

Thanks Ruth.
Embedding the fonts did the trick, although I'm bit surprised given the fact the we are using Calibri and Calibri Light.
Have a great day!

Hi @jvarasanz

I'm happy to hear that the issue is solved. This issue relates to the copyright of the Calibri and Calibri Light, these fonts cannot be stored in our server, therefore, they have to be imbedded in the template.

Thanks,

Ruth
