Survey123 calculations unsupported in web version? (Embedded)

Does survey123 embed not support calculations on loading in the dashboard? Each time I select a new record it doesn't seem to work. I have to manually click the calculate button. I was hoping to calculate the username automatically so that I can set up relevant statements based on usernames.
