Hello everyone,

I have a number of surveys previously published and used for months that are suddenly displaying as if the appearance is configured wrong (e.g. various questions displaying on top of each other, see image for example). I have made no changes to the surveys themselves besides sharing settings for the results via Hub - so I'm not sure what is causing this issue. It also does not happen on all tablets, just a select few so far.

I would appreciate any tips that might point me in the right direction. I have tried updating the survey, deleting it and re-downloading it, deleting the app and re-downloading it, and it is not displaying the surveys correctly on a tablet.

Hi @leightmaes,

It looks like you are running into the same issue described in these threads: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/issues-grid-theme-with-nested-repeats-conne....

https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/repeat-appearance-not-working/m-p/1099738/h...

Based on your screenshot, you may need to add a w1 tag to the parent group. If you are able to share the XLS form, I can provide some more details on specific changes.

Thanks,
-Barbara

@leightmaesIf you change the tag in the “FISH MEASURE DATA” repeat from w21 to w1, that should resolve the issue (see attached XLSForm).

Since there was a w21 tag in both the “FISH MEASURE DATA” repeat and the “MEASURE1” group, both of the w21 tags were being honored, while previous to the 3.13 September update only the tag in the nested group  was honored.

Does that change get your form looking like it did previously?
