  • Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue where my points are not visible in Survey123 after connecting a feature service to my survey. Here are the details of my setup and troubleshooting steps so far: Basically what I am doing is I already have a map of hydrants, I added certain fields as questions with a domains, I want the workers to modify those fields, however none of the points are showing up in survey123 connect, even though fields populated.

    Setup:

    • Using Survey123 Connect (latest version) to create a survey from an existing feature service.
    • The feature service is hosted in ArcGIS Online, and the table appears in Survey123 without any errors.
    • All hydrant points are visible in the original feature service in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Verified that the feature service has GlobalIDs enabled and indexed.
    2. Checked that editing permissions (add, update, delete) are enabled for the feature service.
    3. Simplified the symbology to a single symbol.
    4. Verified the extent of the map in Survey123 Connect and ensured it matches the area of the hydrant points.
    5. Enabled the Inbox in the survey, republished, and refreshed, but the points still don’t load.

    Additional Information:

    • The points are visible in the web map and other applications like ArcGIS Field Maps.
    • The feature service is connected without errors, and all fields are visible in the Survey123 XLSForm.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or can you suggest additional troubleshooting steps? I would appreciate any guidance to resolve this.

    Thank you!

Survery123 only displays the points collected through Survey123. If you want to view existing data and edit rather than just add data look at field maps and using their forms or integrating Survey123 with Field Maps.  For more information on integrating these two tools, you can check out this community thread.
