Open Survey to anyone in organization regardless of privileges?

Hi all,

We'd like to make an organization-wide survey that lives in one of our enterprise portals.

Where we're running into trouble is privileges; we want everyone to be able to answer this particular survey, but we don't want everyone to have the role that lets them answer surveys in general.

Is it possible to open a survey to the entire organization, regardless of privileges? The closest I can think of right now is making it public, but we don't want to do that, either.

Thanks!

Share the survey form:

  • To your organisation, or
  • Set up a group and add everyone to it, then share your survey. Adjust group privacy settings

This lets users access the FORM and you can use the group method if your users by default can't access items shared to organisation.

The survey form targets a view. It also needs to be shared and users need editing privileges. However, users can submit edits to public services.

  • Make the view layer the survey is targeting public
  • Enable editing in a way that users can only add records (and not see any via this view). Add a view filter to ensure results are hidden
  • Add hidden questions with a secret key, or capture usernames, so you can filter out records submitted outside the survey form.

This lets your users access the form and then exposes editing access to the submission layer.

Working on an Enhancement request for this, as well. Will share the number when I get one.
