'month-year' date formatting issues

Hi all,

I've created a survey form using connect and it includes a date field. I have set 'appearance' to 'month-year', and this correctly produces a calendar interface allowing selection to month level, but the actual value captured includes the day (recorded as the 1st) and the time (recorded as 12:00:00PM). Can I persuade Survey123 to capture this as YYYY-MM, without day and time, or do I need to add an additional field that uses format-date?

Setting 'appearance' to 'year' captures the date as YYYY only, so I'm not sure why 'month-year' pulls in the day and time.

Thanks a lot!

AGOL only has a full time field that must have an exact date and time.  Nothing 123 can do about that.

So yes use format date to get your format into a string.  You will not be able to ask it time questions however.

New Date only is coming to AGOL though.  Not sure the status or when 123 may pick that up.  Unless Date type works now?  Not sure
