Hi ESRI,

Device Specs: Panasonic FZ-G1, Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1803

Survey123 Specs: Windows Version 3.3.64

We are using the Survey123 app in our mine site using a combination of ruggedized Ipads and the aforementioned Windows devices. What I am puzzled about is it seems that logging and submitting issues seem to be more prevalent with the windows devices compared to the Ipads.

On windows, when the user goes straight to the inbox and press refresh, app hangs on the logging in process at the "Getting service info". What we do is close the app and try again and the log in is successful thereafter. Note that this doesn't happen on our iOS devices.

Same thing happens when the user gets back from offline fieldwork to the office to submit their outbox surveys. On windows, the user tries to login and the app hangs. Closing the app and trying again solves it. We don't need to do this in iOS.

Is this a stale token issue? Can you confirm this issue and advise workaround/resolution? Thanks.

Regards,

Janssen

Hi,

There are a few different possibilities - the token might be a cause, but there could be others as well. A procedure that would help diagnose what is occurring is to create a log file during the processes you describe - see Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS .  Just start logging without selecting a console - the log file will be in C:\Users\<username>\ArcGIS\AppStudio\logs .
