I have created a survey which contains a main site boundary which is a geotrace question type.

Then I have several repeats. Each one of these repeats has a geopoint or geotrace.

I would like to see the first geotrace visible in each one of the maps I have in the repeats.

Is this even possible without saving the survey first?

I'm not sure I understand the question. When you take a point/trace, they should be visible in the app:

Or do you want these visible in the Feature Layer? In which case, yes, you need to submit first.

I don't think this is possible at the moment. To be able to see geometry (point/line/polygon) in the web map that drives your geolocation questions, that geometry has to exist first - ie. that record needs to be submitted first.

You may want to re-think your survey and have a look at Field Maps as it may be more suitable for this (you can also use it alongside with Survey123 if you need to, have a look at the help how).
