I am trying to create a survey from an existing survey in my organization using S123 Connect version 3.22.49 and that option is not showing. I was looking into this thread and it seems that this option has worked in some versions of the connect app but not others.

What can I do to solve this issue? Or how can I simply copy my colleague's survey? I have tried the "save as", but it doesn't work. I tried to create from "Community"; it worked but all the appearance settings were lost.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Assuming you have access to the other user's computer, you can copy the survey design files to your computer/username.

In Windows the files are located at C:\Users\lUserName\ArcGIS\My Survey Designs. Copy the entire folder for the desired survey to the same folder on your machine. You can open it in Connect and save it as a new survey.

For this specific scenario, the solution I implemented involved coordinating with our ArcGIS Organization Administrator. The Administrator accessed Survey123 through their account and utilized the options menu (three-dot icon) to duplicate the survey by saving it under a different name. Once the new survey was created, they transferred ownership to my account. This approach ensured that the original live survey remained unchanged while allowing me full control over the duplicated version. I was then able to open and modify the survey as needed, as well as access the underlying XLSForm in Survey123 Connect for further customization.
