I am not seeing the map feature inside Survey123 when using the Brave browser (https://brave.com/). I only see the dancing vertical lines.

Hello John,

I can reproduce the issue you describe where the map widget does not load using the 'Brave' browser. This browser is not supported by the survey123 website as per the system requirements page of the documentation. I'd encourage you to submit this to the Survey123 Ideas page so that the demand for this browser from other users can be monitored and prioritized properly.
