Hello everyone. Following my saga of bugs found in version 3.22.49 😥
When publishing a form and scheduling an opening date on the survey123 website, when opening the form page, nothing appears (instead of the custom message).
The behavior occurs on Chrome, Edge, computer, cell phone, Wi-Fi, mobile data... If I simply configure the form to accept responses and refresh the page, the questions appear normally. However, scheduling the opening/closing or even closing it causes the error.
Other surveys, published in previous versions, display the closing message normally.
Thanks everyone.
Solved! Go to Solution.
It looks like they fixed it in AGOL. My surveys are showing the closed message again without republishing.
I'm getting this too with v3.22.49
I did a new test, now on Portal/Enterprise, and the error persists.
This time, I noticed that the background applied to the survey is displayed, but the custom message is not (in case this helps identify the problem).
@abureaux @ChristopherCounsell @ZacharySutherby any ideas?
Yes. I tested again in ArcGIS and Portal and the custom messages appeared again. Thanks for the heads up.
The closing message now has another error. No matter what message I set, it always displays an old message that I set a long time ago (April 2025). The new text that I add is not displayed in the form. I have changed it several times, tried incognito tab, another browser and nothing.
Worse still, this old message can confuse users, because it says that the form is temporarily closed and will reopen later. As a workaround, I had to republish the form, hiding the questions and placing the new closing message as a note 🤦:male_sign:
