Issue with visibility rule on rating question

Does anyone know of any changes that have been made to visibility rules for questions linked to a rating type question?

I have a well used survey that had several "rating" type questions that each brought up a field to add comments and a field to upload a photo for any entries of 3 or less.

Today I noticed I am unable to republish the survey as it brings up an error message and says the visible rules are not valid.

No matter what I set the visible rule to, it keeps saying it is an invalid operator.

Has something changed so that you can no longer apply visibility rules to rating type questions?

Thanks,
Steven

What happens if you delete the rule completely, save, and then add it back in?

I don't want to delete as that would either lose all previous data or would mean I'd have two columns for the same data, which would confuse reports that I run from these survey results.

Sorry I might not have been clear.  Just delete the rules, not the fields/questions.  Delete the rules, save, so then those fields should show at all times.  Then go back and add the visibility rules back in.  This shouldn't affect your feature layer schema at all.

The other thing you could do is migrate the form to Connect and see if the issue is more obvious there.

Sorry, my misunderstanding. I deleted the rules and was able to save and publish the survey fine. However, when I added the rules back in and tried to republish, I was hit with the same "invalid operator" issue as before.

I've not used Connect before as I couldn't get my head around it so I might contact Esri direct as it could be a software bug

Thanks,
