Anyone use url links to Filemaker app?

I have read that Filemaker can launch via app url with passing of data and was wondering if anyone has tried it?  Either linking to or from Filemaker.  It ill be on iPads.

Format is fmp:then?? - not sure how to build the url

Interested if done in Collector also.

Hi Doug,

Filemaker's url scheme can bee seen at Opening files using a URL .  That being said, it likely will not work at this time on iOS as url schemes need to be authorized by the sending application; currently Survey123 does not support the fmp url namespace.

But Filemaker could open Survey123?   Do you know if Collector can do either?

Hi Doug,

Whether an app built with Filemaker can open another app is probably better addressed in Filemaker forums - see FileMaker Pro 16 Help, Can I open an application e.g. Skype from a button | FileMaker Community.

On what apps are supported via URL scheme in Collector, I would ask Collector for ArcGIS‌ to fill in.
