Within Survey123 Connect allow users to repeat the all values of the previous entry except for those specified in Connect or those that have calculations embedded in them. Place an additional button on the repeat record navigation pane that would allow users to automatically fill in all specified fields using the values in the previous repeat. Users could still update the values if needed, but in many cases this could save a lot of time as we often find identical conditions when monitoring locations on the ground.
