Would be great if displaying webmaps in Survey123 reports was extended to support showing a legend.

The post I found stating that it was not is a little dated so if this has been added can someone please let me know.  I'm not seeing it in the documentation though so I don't think it's been done.

Hi @DuncanC ,

I can confirm a map in the report does not support legend. Can you please share any screenshots or requirements for the legend you expect to include in a map in the report? For example, any changes to the content generated by the Legend widget or controlling the size of the legend?

Hi @ZhifangWang ,

Really it would be great just to have the basics,  any additional settings we had available to customize it would be a bonus.

I included a webmap in a daily report, it displays some polygons the field staff keep up to date, but the reader of the report needs a legend to make sense of what those various colors mean.  My solution ended up being using the legend widget from experiance builder to set a background color and give me a starting point that I screenshot, editted into a layout I wanted and saved as a png I include in the report template below the map.

I'm sure your users run into this all the time and I'm not the only one that would love a simplified workflow for it.

I don't really care if it generates a legend that is standalone or that is embeded in the webmap.  Having the option would be great.  If it is embeded being able to set it's position would be a must.

Background color, forground color, size/scale seem like good basics to include.

I also would love the option to turn on and off the display of the layer names.

And to set a number of columns so it could be used to create a landscape shaped legend box instead of a portrait shaped box if that makes sense.

Thanks for considering this addition!
