The images in the timeline will not expand on mobile phone.

Why images in the timeline when exploring the storymao on phone are not expanding as the other images? Thanks

@chiara_c  -- We can look into that, but as you can see in your screenshot, the images are only going to get slightly bigger if we offer a tap-to-expand feature on phones. Phone screens are simply very limited in horizontal space.

Note that readers can already pinch to zoom in to get a closer look at a portion of any image in a story.

Hi @chiara_c -- There isn't currently a tap-to-expand feature on phones since on phone screens images already appear about as large as they would look in an expanded view. Can you explain a little more about what you'd be looking for in this feature?

Hi @OwenGeo thanks for you response. We are using a timeline block to show how the port has evolved through the ages. There are few historical maps and aerial photos and they are displayed quite small on phones (screenshot attached). It would have been great to have the possibility to expand them as scrolling down in the timeline.
