Hi There, I have a list of vacant sites, digitised and displayed on a story map. Additionally I have a master spreadsheet in excel of the same sites. I would like to create a hyperlink from each excel record that when clicked opens up the storymap and zooms to that record displaying the site. I'm working with a side panel storymap with embedded map.

Is this possible?

Hi @GarethPicken ,

You can create links to individual points by adding navigation links to the story Design and adding a Heading text in each sidecar slide, with each slide zoomed to a particular point. This will create links you can copy and add to your excel that will direct to that point and slide. This will mean that you would need to have a separate slide for each point you want to reference.

Are you currently using an express map, or a map originally created outside of ArcGIS StoryMaps? You can quickly create new slides with the Duplicate slide option, and pan/zoom that slide's scale to focus on the respective feature.

Let me know if you have further questions on this,

Abby
