Copy/Paste from Print Preview produces unwanted results

I have noticed some unusual behavior when using the print preview option to copy/paste to MS Word. I'm not sure if it is related to one of the recent updates but it is rather new.

We need the ability to submit our story maps to editors so they can make edits and track changes. We use MS Word instead of PDF because the ability to print to PDF format still doesn't function like we want. Especially if you have a larger number of interactive content. When we print to PDF we find content either omitted or cutoff.

Here are two issues we are seeing,

  1. When copying story maps with any sort of image or non-text content it produces large blank areas in the document. In the past these images would just be omitted.
    • A workaround is used for this. A simple replace all replacing ^g with a blank space gets rid of them.
  2. When you copy story maps with hyperlinks and paste them in Word extra spaces are added before and after the hyperlink. In the past this did not happen.

Here is a story map you can use to see what we are seeing. Simply go to print preview and copy/paste to Word.
