The Classic StoryMaps had the capability to "Check Stories" to validate links and images, sharing status of maps and other items, missing data layers/maps. This would be great to have in the new StoryMaps builder.
When a story or briefing is published, the builder checks maps, scenes, and layers for sharing issues or missing/unavailable content. These checks also look for premium and subscription content and will ask you to authorize their use, if needed.
Later this year we plan to release some enhancements to this feature, so stay tuned!
