I would like to specify a particular date to be displayed on the cover of my published StoryMap.
The current options for dates to be displayed on a StoryMap cover are:
- Original Publication Date
- Date of Last Update
- Current Date
- None (hide date)
There are times that I want to fix the date to something other than those options. I would like there to be an option to specify a particular date.
For example, I have a StoryMap that I originally published with some basic content to use as a placeholder, and directed readers to come back at a certain date when additional content would be available (coinciding with a presentation at a conference). I want the current iteration of the StoryMap to reflect that date, when the content was published in its mostly final form, but I've since made a few minor tweaks.
For this example StoryMap, the Original Publication Date would not be appropriate, as it pre-dated the bulk of the content being available, but now the Date of Last Update is much more recent than I want. I would like to fix it to the date when the bulk of the content was published, to better connect it to the event for which the StoryMap was developed.
