Ability to create a map "snapshot view" slide in Map Tours
Hello everyone!
I figure this might be a long-shot (not sure how easy it would be to develop) but it would be helpful to have a way of adding a "snapshot view" tile to Map Tours.
Since all of the slides require a specific view - it's difficult to add a slide that shows a view of the entire Map Tour. Typically, I'll have users just add one slide at the beginning of the Map Tour > zoom out to the full extent of all the points > and place a point right in the middle to save it. That way, when readers are scrolling through the StoryMap, the beginning of the Map Tour will start out with a view of the entire tour instead of zooming to just the first point.
Here is an example - I added a slide at the beginning that will zoom out to the full extend of the data before going to the first actual data point:
The only downside to this, is that it adds a rogue #1 point to map.
There may be better/recommended ways to do this, I'm open to any suggestions! Just in general - it would be nice to add a snapshot view so the reader can see the Map Tour extent in it's entirety.
