Hello everyone,

I am working on ArcGIS 10. Licence ok, Spatial Analyst extension ok.

At first, my toolbar was disabled (grey) but, by following these advices, I could enable it.
http://blogs.esri.com/esri/supportcenter/2011/03/18/why-are-my-spatial-analyst-and-3d-analyst-toolba...

So now I have my toolbar activated, but no menu or options is accessible.

What I want to access it this:

I hope to have any advice because I am stuck...

Thank you very much,

Hello,

I see, that makes good sense. The training materials you're using are for ArcGIS 9.3, and the toolbar has been integrated into the rest of the geoprocessing environment in a more consistent way at ArcGIS 10. For those particular options, you'll want Geoprocessing > Environments..., which allows you to control the options in that dialog and others. This thread includes details on how to add back a 9.3 style Spatial Analyst menu, and this blog post includes some details on the change.

Best wishes,
Shaun

You'll also have to add a raster dataset into the map for the tools to become enabled -- they act on the currently selected layer.

cheers,

Dear Shaun,

Thank you for your message.

Although, activating the toolbar is not the problem, since I could activate it.

Here is what I have as a toolbar.

The only available functions are "create contour" and "create histogram".
So my question is: where are Spatial Analyst other functions, Menu and Options ?

Best regards,

Antoine

Enable the extension then go to ArcToolbox, all the functionality has been moved there and the toolbar you are looking at is a former shell of itself
