I would like to calculate the mean aspect of my smaller sample areas in a larger area. I wanted to use the CalcZonalMeanAspect.py file from @CarlBeyerhelm , but for some reason it doesn't work.
After specifying the shapefile that covers the smaller sample areas, even though I specify the ESRI grid file for the height values of the area, it writes that it is not an esri grid file. However, I used the ArcMap "Raster to other format" tool to convert the original tiff file to an esri grid file.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong or how else I could calculate the mean aspect?
