Hi -
I'm hoping to incorporate the GIS Request Management into my workflow, but I am having trouble getting everything synced.
I have managed to update my spreadsheets (from Survery123 Connect) for GIS Service Request form by adding specific requirements for my team's needs.
However, when I am trying to publish the form it gives me an error that reads: Input_Table not available as well.
When I do end up publishing, my 'GIS Request' feature layer is gone.
I have repeats on my spreadsheet. I'm fairly new to this side of GIS, but excited to incorporate this with my team.
Thank you,
@Cierra_Scriven - any help?
Based on the error, I assume you have already published the survey and then made changes to it? Also, have you changed the name of the feature service table in ArcGIS Online? This seems to upset Survey123 Connect (which is frustrating as it doesn't apublish "pretty" names). Unless you have data already in your service, or have made other changes that you don't want to lose, you can overwrite it. If you don't want to lose those changes, then if I'm correct, you need to find the feature service table and rename it back to "Input_datasets"
@Tae_Kim
When you say you updated your spreadsheets - does that mean you added a new field(s)?
If so, then you need to also add those same fields to the GIS_Activities layer BEFORE you try to publish.
There are a lot of posts on here about common questions when configuring this specific Solution - adding fields in one of the most common things people do and we did our best to answers the common question on Community.
Check out this first. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-solutions-questions/gis-request-management-adding-a-new-field/m...
@Tae_Kim - In addition to making sure you add fields to the GIS_Activities layer that you've added to the Survey123 form, you also should be aware that the Survey123 connect forms are hooked up to existing services that are deployed with the solution (GIS_Activities, GIS_Requests, etc.)
So when you add a repeat to your Survey123 form in Connect, you are essentially adding a related table (Input_Datasets) that doesn't exist in the service, which is why you are getting a warning that the existing feature service is not compatible with your survey. The only option is to remove the repeat/table to keep the existing service intact, or republish the service and survey. Keep in mind that republishing the service will break references to the old services in downstream apps, and you will need to re-wire them with the new service that was published.
Hope this helps.
Hi -
I am still getting some errors with publishing and re-wiring. Is there a way to get in contact with an ESRI Support for assistance?
