QuickCapture Project - won't save input variable for fields

Hi there,

I have created a feature layer in ArcGIS online and am now trying to change field inputs from e.g. "fixed" value to "button user input", however when I press save it won't save the changes.

I am new to ArcGIS and might have missed something. I am following this guide:https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/get-started-quickcapture/#online and this one https://doc.arcgis.com/en/quickcapture/help/editproject.htm. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @TamaraKartal From the field's drop-down menu, you will select the 'Button user input' option and create a button user input variable first, and then assign it to that text field. Hi I am also having this issue and have tried following the tutorial with no resolution.

1. In button data configuration, for capture fields it is by default set to ‘Fixed value’ for my field ‘damage_notes_polygon’
   
   
   
2. I update this to button user input with the following configuration
   
3. When I try to now save the app, there is an error (which is resolved by setting the field back to fixed value)
