The current steps to add an observation in Quick Capture should be changed to make it easier and less time consuming.
Current State - when we add an observation, we are forced to add notes about the observation before we can adjust location of the observation on the map while we are flying and sometimes we may have to circle back to the observation point to review and get the observation point again on the map. This causes time delays and extra time that could be avoided if the sequence of steps was changed for the adding of an observation.
Future State Request - When adding an observation, our pilots want to add and adjust the point/observation and fine tune the point at the same time when the observation is captured before notes are added. They can add the notes after the observation point has been added.
Impact if not completed:
Extra flying time
Higher operational costs for patrols due to circling back to review observation again
"More eyes down time" for the pilots while flying
User frustration could reduce QC usage/adoption
