Details: Install the app on the rooted device if it is not showing any alert regarding the rooted device or not blocking the app to run. Then it is not protected with root detection.
Impact: User information/data can be accessed and compromised as the app is getting installed and properly working in rooted devices. Application has the capability to read private information of users.
Recommendation: Root detection mechanism should be implemented in apps to restrict installation
in rooted devices. As MDM and MAM is not feasible for all the customers to implement as it will cost addition cost.
