In ArcMap we had used a font called Myriad Pro, I was wondering if there was any way to load this font into ArcGIS Pro to use in a text element in the map layout.

EDIT: The BUG will be implemented in ArcGIS Pro 2.5

Hello dear all,

this is a BUG that occurs in versions of Windows 1809 and 1903 in ArcGIS Pro 2.4 . I got that confirmed from Technical Support. There is the BUG number: BUG-000124695.

The workaround is: Copy your new instaled fonts in to: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\Fonts . After that, fonts will be visible in ArcGIS Pro.

Myriad Pro is an Adobe font. If you are using Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe has moved their fonts to be managed by TypeKit, now called Adobe Fonts, instead of installing them to the computer

While ArcMap can access the CC-managed fonts, ArcGIS Pro cannot.

If you use the older Adobe Creative Suite (CS) products, the fonts will be installed to the computer (visible here:  C:\Windows\Fonts), and ArcGIS Pro can access them.

Where can I download a font file (that is missing in Pro) from a reliable site?
