Hello,

I am looking for the well known ID (WKID) Geographic Coordinate System for this NGS Datasheet NAD 83 (2011) and another NAD 83 (1991):

ESRI Recognizes both WGS84 and NAD83 as common datums, however I'm having difficulty tracking down NAD83's WKID.

Thx.

There's a PDF in your C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\Help\pro-app\2.9\help\mapping\properties\pdf directory called projected_coordinate_systems.pdf.

In reviewing for Maryland, I found a NAD_1983_2011_Maryland_FIPS_1900 WKID of 6487 but didn't find one for 1991.  Is that the WKID for 2011 you're looking for?

@Robert_LeClair ,

FYI: Here's the NGS data sheet for a NAD 83 (1991) point.

Another way of saying what I'm trying to do is recreate this NGS point as proper Point Geometry from the lat/long NGS data sheet.  So I need the WKID NAD 83 (1991) sometimes, and (2011) sometimes, and other depending on the data sheet.

ESRI docs helpfully describe PointGeometry creation:

And here is my real world example for the datasheet point above EXCEPT I plugged in 4326 for EXAMPLE only.  What is the spatial_reference (WKID) for NAD 83 (1991)?

(successfully created PointGeometry, just need proper spatial_reference)

HTH better describe the question.  Thank you.

Thx for the explanation Tyler - that all makes sense.  I'm going to defer to @MelitaKennedy on this as she is Esri's expert on coordinate systems.  Melita - any thoughts on Tyler's request?
