Hello -

I've got about 10 geo points on a map with 5 mile buffer zones around each.  Most of them overlap a bit.  I'd like to create a weighed overlay of the 10 points and assign more weight to some of the points and where they overlap.  Ex:  have several businesses, offices, and residential homes in the 10.  I want to give more weight to the homes and where they overlap the businesses and offices.

Is there a way to do this?  I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi @elterrell4 if you are thinking of using the `weighted overlay` tool in ArcGIS Pro then this tool only works with rasters.

If businesses and offices are separate feature classes then you can first merge them. Then you can do spatial join between homes and the merged dataset using the intersect relationship. Then create a weight column and assign weights to homes that overlap or not.

And that would work with the buffer zones too?
