I design large scale solar farms for municipals and developers. I help develop topographic analysis, and currently we use a combination of Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro and Excel to create our layouts/plans.
My question/need is this:
I’d like to be able to find the slope of a line (from two points, one in the north to the other in the south). Place this line in space, a specified distance above the elevation surface (while maintaining that degree of slope) and then measure the height of the line at multiple points along the line in comparison to the surface (raster elevation) below.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone...???
