Hi, I have a raster showing river inundation (attached 'raster') which I'd like to transform into a simple polygon shape for ongoing presentation use. I've converted the raster to a polygon and tried Dissolve, but am still left with a complex shape with holes inside etc. (polygon).

Can anyone suggest a smoothing function or similar that will outpur a more simple feature?

You could clean up the raster with raster tools a bit before converting to polygon.
