Hi there! I'm having some issues creating an animation through time. I've gotten the animation all down, but some of my features are not disappearing when their "Year Ended" time comes around.
For background, I'm working on my thesis project that includes creating maps showing the relationship between textile mills, railroads, and waterways. I'm having issues with my textile mills specifically. I have two fields in the data, "Year Started" and "Year Ended". One mill in particular has its "Year Ended" set as 1902 but doesn't disappear when the year 1902 rolls around.
The mills all appear when they are supposed to, but I can't get them to disappear when they are meant to. I have the time set for the data to have a start and end date, with the respective fields applied. Thanks for any help!
Question - are both fields of the date/time field type? Or is one a text/integer/decimal and the other is a date/time field type?
Did you figure this out?
Has anyone figured this out? I have the same issue.
I have the same issue. I figured out it appears AFTER I made an animation. Even if I delete the anmination the issue persists. Havent updated yet to the latest ArcGIS Pro tho....
I found out that the time settings is changed when creating a new animation. I found that the little lock symbol was set to unlocked and that the start year was set to somehting like in a couple of months into the year. That was the culprit on my issues.
