Hello,
We have found a feature class from which we cannot launch a simplify line geoprocess. If we launch the process from ArcGIS Pro, the program quits unexpectedly with no error stacktrace and no clear explanation of what is happening. It asks to send an error report.
As a solution, we have tried to verify and repair the geometry of the feature class; without success.
The feature class is inside a FGDB and under a dataset with a valid coordinate system.
I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.6.3
Thanks!

This sounds like BUG-000134364 - "The Simplify Line tool returns a message of out of memory or crashes ArcGIS Pro when running on data containing a large number of features." It was reported at ArcGIS Pro 2.6.x and fixed at ArcGIS Pro 2.8. Your only recourse is to update to ArcGIS Pro 2.8.x or higher unfortunately.
Works in 2.8.3
Just spitballing here:
Have you tried
Do you have write privileges in the save location?
Hi @JohannesLindner, thank you very much for your quick response.
But I have tried all options: different parameters is not priority, I have moved feature to another gdb, out of dataset and as shapefile.
I have enough disk space and resources.
Using a higher version in my case is not possible; I have tested in Arcgis pro 2.9.2 and ArcMap 10.7.1 and it works in both.
I am interested in making it work in ArcGIS pRO 2.6.3, due to project requirements.
Thank you very much!
