Viewshed Gurus,
I'm seeking assistance in how to setup a viewshed analysis within ArcGIS Pro to correlate aircraft ADS-B data tracks with ADS-B receiver locations. There are 3 ADS-B receivers S/SE of Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (KSAV) and I have aircraft ADS-B data tracks at various altitudes covering a 2 hour time period. Clearly those tracks start to drop out at lower altitudes to the N/NW. I'm trying to capture this as a viewshed based on receivers locations and range.
The elevation layer is not significant in this coastal region with KSAV at 50' field elevation and the receivers are in the delta. I've noticed most viewshed are for observers views within terrain, whereas I'm trying to understand reception ranges.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated... I'm a part-time Ph.D. student just starting in GIS since August 2022 and the uses within Aviation are just coming to light.
