Running Locate LAS Points by Proximity to only select certain classifications

I have an LAS Dataset with seven classifications.

What I am trying to accomplish is creating a new FC from two classifications, High Vegetation and Low Vegetation, within a distance (let's say 15 feet) from a 3D Wire FC (input).

The purpose of the new FC is to highlight vegetation that is encroaching on the wire.

I have tried running it with toggling classes on and off in both the Selection and LAS Filter sections in the Properties of the LAS dataset, but it either returns no results (untrue), or it captures the Wire classification within the LAS dataset (I want that excluded from the result).

I am sure I am missing something easy, I've been banging my head against the wall here.  Does anyone know what the correct config I should use based on the situation above?

TIA 🙂

Hey @TrentDamon, within the lasd i would only have vegetation filtered on and turn off wire classifications turn off. Can you share a screen shot of the tool configured..? what coordinate system is your map / scene in as this could cause unexpected behavior..?

@TrentDamon - have you seen this Esri Support Services Technical Support document - How To: Extract Features from Lidar Data in ArcGIS Pro?  It provides a workflow to convert LASD items to a feature class.  May be worth a try?
